Meet Observe, the latest brand to join Baskèts.
Founded in Melbourne in 2020 by siblings Massimo and Alessia Acquaro, Observe began as a passion project shaped by their shared interest in architecture and minimalist design. What started from a love for simple forms and considered spaces grew into a design studio focused on creating timeless ready-to-wear pieces.
Observe explores the space between gender, streetwear and classic tailoring, creating unisex garments that feel refined without being overcomplicated. Simplicity is at the centre of the brand, with each piece designed to have a clear purpose while remaining easy to wear.
The name Observe reflects the brand’s desire to slow down and appreciate the simple and meaningful details within an ever-changing world. This idea can be seen throughout their collections, where silhouettes, colour palettes and textures are carefully considered and designed to work together.
For Massimo and Alessia, family is another important part of the brand. Their shared perspective shapes the way each collection comes together, with individual pieces designed to complement one another and create a sense of cohesion.
