In November 2026, Baskèts opens a new 500 m² location at Schiphol Airport, where retail and hospitality come together.
Baskèts is a premium lifestyle retailer rooted in Amsterdam. Across our stores and online platform, we curate a sharp edit of sneakers, clothing, accessories and lifestyle products, combining product, inspiration and experience in one place.
Café Baskèts Schiphol will feel more like a cosy living room than a traditional grab-and-go airport café, a place where people can slow down, relax and enjoy a glass of wine, a beer, good food and great coffee before their flight.
We're building a team of warm, energetic people with a natural sense of hospitality who enjoy creating a welcoming atmosphere and working together in a fast-paced environment.

As Assistant Manager, you support the General Manager in the daily operation of Baskèts. You help lead the team, maintain exceptional service standards and ensure smooth operations throughout every shift. You coach colleagues, monitor performance and take responsibility whenever the General Manager is absent.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' hospitality experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Fluent English

As an All Rounder at Café Baskèts, no two shifts are necessarily the same. You are an important part of the entire hospitality operation and help wherever you are needed to make sure our guests have a great experience.
You may be welcoming guests and taking orders, preparing food & drinks including fresh coffee, restocking, or keeping the operation clean and organised. You are comfortable switching between different tasks and understand that great hospitality is about working together as one team. You are energetic, friendly and proactive. You don't wait to be asked to help and you are always looking for ways to make the operation run better. Whether we are serving a morning rush of travellers or a busy afternoon and evening service, you stay calm, positive and focused on the guest.
You'll work closely with the Shift Leaders and management team and will be given the training and support needed to develop across different areas of the business.
Requirements:
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
- Positive, energetic and hands-on attitude
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and develop across different areas of the operation
- Fluent English

As a Kitchen Porter, you are an essential part of the Café Baskèts team. You help keep the kitchen and wider operation clean, organised and running smoothly throughout the day. You are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, keeping equipment and work areas clean, supporting the team with deliveries and stock, and making sure clean equipment and utensils are always available when needed.
You understand that an efficient operation depends on great organisation. You work quickly and efficiently, take pride in keeping your surroundings clean and are always ready to help wherever you are needed.
You will work closely with the hospitality team in a fast-paced airport environment where teamwork, communication and attention to detail are essential.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred
- Positive and hardworking attitude
- Good organisational skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

The Process
As Café Baskèts is located airside at Schiphol Airport, all team members are required to complete a security screening and airport pass application.
