For ADE, we teamed up with Salomon to bring In the Open to Radio Radio Amsterdam. A Friday afternoon built around music, movement and bringing people together, setting the tone for the weekend ahead.
Merel Helderman opened the afternoon with her signature blend of house and drawing on the rhythms of '90s house. Laura Meester took over next, bringing together old-school house and percussion-driven grooves. Benny Rodrigues closed out the day with his unmistakable mix of funky house and deeper, driving sounds. Three distinct approaches behind the decks, keeping the energy moving as Radio Radio stayed packed until the very last track.
The day also brought Salomon's trail-inspired design into the mix. With the XT-4 GORE-TEX and XT-6 representing the brand's technical heritage and Sportstyle identity, the collaboration felt right at home in a setting where music, fashion and culture come together. Both silhouettes carry the functionality of their outdoor origins into everyday life.
Holy Moly kept everyone fuelled with freshly served pizzas, while Salomon added a little extra to the experience. Hidden inside the venue's lockers were gifts waiting to be discovered, giving a few lucky guests an unexpected surprise along the way.
From the first set to the last track, In the Open brought together everything we love about ADE: good music, familiar faces, new connections and a shared energy that kept the room moving.
