Kenneth Aidoo is a talented painter whose art is deeply rooted in his Ghanaian heritage and the African Diaspora. Initially pursuing filmmaking, he rediscovered his passion for painting at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, where his cinematic background and influences from artists like Kerry James Marshall shaped his unique style. Kenneth’s work explores themes of history, identity, and personal experience. Through the Originals Art Instalments project, Kenneth fuses his heritage with contemporary design, this artwork was inspired by the adidas SL 72.
