Hoka Stinson

The shoe that shaped the HOKA identity

To mark the return of the HOKA Stinson, we partnered with storyteller and creative Clayton Chambers. In a new video created exclusively for Baskèts, Clayton breaks down how the Stinson became one of the defining shoes in HOKA’s history. From its origins in the French Alps to the moment it disrupted the minimal running era, he highlights why the Stinson still stands out today.

The campaign looks back at the ideas that shaped the shoe. The oversized cushioning, the wider platform, the Meta Rocker geometry. All elements that helped runners move further with less impact and eventually influenced the Clifton, the Challenger and the models that followed.

Clayton shifts the Stinson back into context. A design that shifted the conversation around long distance running and still carries the same purpose today. Built for comfort, made for momentum and ready for whatever the terrain brings.
