UGG

Heritage & Philosophy

UGG was born in 1978, when surfer Brian Smith came fromAustralia to California with a dream, to craft the perfect boot to warm his feet after chilly mornings in Pacific. That became the UGG icon, The Classic Boot. Embraced by everyone from surfers to celebrities, UGG has always been about feeling like yourself whoever you are. From iconic boots to modern cult classics, every evolution of UGG turns comfort into a statement on style. UGG is all about the people who love it - that's what makes it so iconic. That Feels Like UGG.

Signature Materials & Craftsmanship

At the core of UGG’s design is the 17 mm Twinface sheepskin upper and lining, chosen for natural temperature regulation and softness. Boots rest on Treadlite by UGG™ EVA outsoles, lightweight, durable and engineered for traction, while suede heel counters and recycled‑polyester bindings add resilience and sustainability. Every stitch, from overlock seam detailing to welt construction, reflects meticulous craftsmanship in UGG’s global facilities.

Brand Vision & Evolution

UGG continues to expand beyond its classic boots into apparel, loungewear and accessories: always guided by a “comfort-first” ethos. Collaborations with designers like Molly Goddard and Telfar have refreshed heritage shapes for new audiences, while recent initiatives focus on responsibly sourced wool, low‑impact dye processes and increasing recycled content across collections. By balancing iconic silhouettes with forward‑thinking materials and partnerships, UGG remains at the forefront of relaxed luxury.
