Salomon’s story began in 1947, in a small metal workshop in the heart of the French Alps, where the Salomon family crafted ski edges. Decades of perfecting outdoor movement in the mountains eventually led them to the trails, and later, to the world of sneakerwear.

The Salomon XT-Whisper draws from this deep archive. Originally designed in 2009 as a trail running shoe for women, it was built to handle the grit of the trail while offering a softer aesthetic than the heavy silhouettes of the time. It was a shoe that recognised the need for flexibility without compromising on its look.

Now remastered, this silhouette bridges the gap between its heritage and a modern wardrobe. It keeps the functional spirit of the original, maintaining that rugged reliability, but reimagines it with tonal textures and a lighter feel. The result is a shoe that feels at home on the move, whether you’re navigating a quiet morning or a busy afternoon.
